18mm Solid Finger-Jointed European Oak Furniture Board (2.40m), Euro Oak

Supplied, well wrapped, good condition and on time. Nice wood to work with. Delivery only £10 on such a weighty order.

I wanted to make a built in wardrobe but despise contiboard with a passion so came across these since the walnut panels seem to have disappeared from sale which is disappointing.
Delivery of these has been spot on, they are well packaged and all 7 panels I had ordered damage free.
When the panels arrived, they were perfectly flat with no bows, cupping or warping. I let the panels settle for a few weeks as wood always moves once unpacked and in a different environment. Unfortunately, this settling time did mean that 2 of the board's did bow and they are fairly resistant to straightening but can be done.
The make up of the board's is very good, I have found no issues with the gluing of the pieces of oak that make up the panel that you can get with these type of boards.
In short, if your uming and arring about using these, I would say go for it

reasonable quality board with no cupping, twisting or bowing. Nice 60mm wide staves, some minor imperfections which are to be expected with a natural product but no major flaws, looks lovely oiled, good value for the price

Great product, great quality. I used this on a project to add shelves to a very high quality stately home kitchen, once stained you wouldn’t even know it wasn’t meant to be there. Good solid furniture board which I struggle to find anything even close to this locally. Looks great as well.

Supplied slightly oversize (2450 x 310) which takes care of any damaged corners (although all mine were perfect). One surface is fairly uniform in colour, the other more varied. You can see the zig-zag joins on the edge, but they are quite neat, and not that obvious.

Edges were all damaged and one long edge was not machined straight. Only buy if you require a smaller size then issued.

I ordered 12 oak furniture boards. They came in well protected packaging with no damage. The lorry driver took them off the lorry and allowed me plenty of time to check them, will use the company again.

Nice wood but it does bow very quickly if not already bowed when arrived.

It's hard to find oak boards like this, and harder at the price.\n\nI used one to make two side tables and they look the business!\n\nGreat quality and easy to work with.
